Stay in Touch Care Packages
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish is so proud of the young adults in our parish family and wishes them ALL the best on the journeys that await them. As they embark on new adventures, we want them to know that we are praying for them and that there will always be a special place for them at St. E’s. As in the past, we’re continuing our "Stay in Touch” ministry and would love to send a care package to your son or daughter, whether away at college or working from home base.
As a parish community, Father Stan and our staff recognize the need to support graduates in staying connected to the Catholic Church after they graduate.
With more than 80% of high school students leaving their faith in college, we need a way to connect graduates to the next step in their faith journey.
We need teachers for 1st & 2nd grade on Sunday morning at both 9 am and 10:30. Additionally, we need teachers for 4th and 7th grade on Sunday at 10:30 and 5th and 7th grade on Monday at 4:30. Classes meet every other week from Sept. 10 until April 22. If we are do not have enough volunteers, classes may be cancelled. In addition to being able to share our faith with the youngest members of our parish, teachers are not required to pay tuition for their children who attend Religious Education classes. Training is provided. Please prayerfully consider this opportunity.
We are looking for volunteer teachers for Religious Education for the school year starting in September. Please email: [email protected] for more information.

The Body and Blood Of Christ (Corpus Christi – Reflection of the readings- Kevin Gaffney RCIA Instructor.
1st Reading: Deuteronomy 8:2-3
2nd Reading 1 Corinthians 10:16-17
Gospel John 6:51-58
On this Sunday we reflect on the readings of Corpus Christi or the Body Of Christ. All three of the readings are rich in the symbolism of eating, being fed, and how God has provided food for his people. They are so divinely intertwined that it is difficult to reflect on one reading without the other.
In Deuteronomy 8:2-3 the text offers us the first references to the dual path between the physical and spiritual act of consuming food. God used Israel’s early experiences in the desert to show his children that both the physical and spiritual aspects of life are from God. That physical sustenance is closely linked to spiritual sustenance. With food or without food, could his people look to God and God’s graciousness to provide for his people.
An Evening of Eucharistic Revival with Fr. Agustino Torres, CFR, and Bishop Kevin Sweeney
Sunday, June 11,, 2023, from 6pm – 8pm
Join us for an Evening of Adoration, Praise and Worship, and Benediction to enhance our understanding of, love for, and living out of the Holy Eucharist.
In our first reading I have often reflected and thought about the astonishment when these disciples and others realized they were hearing everyone in their native language, but there was no Earthly way that could be possible. It probably took them some time before that thought came to them. I’m certain it brought them to pause and genuinely reflect and marvel at the power of God. I often try to put myself in that situation and think, how would I react? More pointedly realizing this proof of the Holy Spirit’s help, does this help fortify you in your calling from God? Knowing we have always had His Holy Spirit with us unlike the disciples, makes me feel that I may not have always appreciated the gift of the Holy Spirit. How does this make you feel?
It is a blessing to have faith. It fills your heart and mind with good things. I feel sorry for people who don't have faith. At my work very few people go to church and when I talk about my faith they make fun of me. They don't know what they are missing! I think only 10% of 50 go to church. Very sad. I cannot understand that there would be anything other than our Creator, God to justify the complications of the the universe. I argue that that the amazing human body, eyes, ears, heart, lungs and more could ever occur other than from God.
